It's been a while

Oops, sorry that I haven't updated in so long. But on the bright side that means lots of pictures!

First up is a Hudson Hat that I knit for my SIL. I really hope she likes it as much as I do!

And next is a yymn in the Aligator Knits Girly Ooga Booga colorway. I love how these worked up. The ruffles are just enough to be girly without being overwhelming.

And then another yymn that is already at it's new home. These are Nurturing Threads Hummingbird colorway.

And then probably my favorite pair of yymn longies yet. These are also already at their new home. It is SugarBubbie's Primise.

And then lastly, one of my current wip's. Family Roots Grapefruit Love. I'm hoping to have these finished very soon and then they will be on their way home to a little girl. These will be her first longies.
And that's it for now. Lots of pictures, not much else to say. ;)

Today's goal was accomplished!

My goal for today was to finish the Kaia Babydoll dress that I was knitting from Elliebelly Florida Vacation. And I finished it!

Here it is:

And modeled by my daughter.

Are you ready for some pictures?

I finished up MM Irish Meadow. It didn't behave as well as I would have liked on the legs, but it's done now and didn't turn out too bad. Here they are.
And here are all 3 pairs of longies together.
And now I'm currently working on SugerBubbie Promise. It could not be knitting up any better. These have just been a joy to knit and are flying off the needles. I took this picture this morning and since then I've finished the first leg and have several inches done on the second leg. I think I may try to get them finished tomorrow.

And lastly, I'm slowly working on this pair. It's This is How Much I Love You on Marr Haven and is becoming small/medium longies for a fundraiser. I'll post a little more info on that later.
And of course this isn't counting all the things in the works for my own daughter. I have a dress that NEEDS to get finished. It is my #1 priority for tomorrow, if I get done with it then I will finish up the SB longies. Plus I still have her Requiem sweater to finish, and the yarn for the matching longies got here so now I have them to do. And yarn for a couple more pairs of longies for her as well. But I also got 2 packages of yarn from customers today and so I will be very busy. But it's something that I love doing so I don't mind. That just means that you need to stay tuned for more pictures.

Keepin' busy is the name of the game

I've been knitting up a storm recently. My husband is away for a bit so I've been knitting to keep busy, especially in the evenings. First off here is MM Irish Meadow as a wip. Somehow I thought this colorway had a lot more green in it, but I still really like it. It's for a customer, the last of the longies I'm knitting for her in trade for some yummy yarn.

And I'm still working on my daughter's sweater. I've actually gotten a bit more done since this picture was taken. I'm lacking the motivation to work on it right now because I don't know what I want to do for the bottom edge. The pattern calls for garter stitch, but that is far from my favorite trim look so I'm still debating something else. I think I may look for a simple lace pattern.

And then lastly, here is MM Winter Pear all finished up. I really thought I was going to run out of colorway for these, but I got by and still had just a smidge left over. I did the cuffs in trim color because I was so afraid I was going to be short on colorway and to give them a bit of interest I did a diagonal cuff and really like how that turned out.

Well, I'm off to knit some more. I really want to get those Irish Meadow longies finished up soon.

I've been busy.

First off the FO (finished object) picture of Whirligig. I love how they turned out. I made the pocket nice and big for all kinds of little boy treasures.

I've also gotten some more knitting done on Winter Pear. I've actually gotten a bit further since this picture was taken. I want to get these finished up but I've been slacking on them. Maybe I'll force myself to work on them tonight instead of my other current wip.
And here is my other current wip. It doesn't look like much now, but it will be a kimono sweater for my daughter. And then eventually it will have matching brown longies. and if I have enough yarn left over maybe even a hat. Such a sweet winter set for my little girl.

And in other news I'm also now a licensed Hudson Hat knitter. I love Hudson Hats, such cute, sweet stocking caps.

And a few action shots to show just how cute it is on.

A Little Peek

Here is a quick peek at what I'm working on now. On top is Whirl-a-gig dyed by Myla at PJ Bottoms. Since this picture was taken I've started on the legs and they are working up in the most wonderful stripes. The bottom pair is Mosaic Moon Winter Pear. Both pairs are for a wonderful little boy whose mama is dying me up some yummy yarn that will become a winter set for Dani.

Mint Chocolate Chip

I was so unsure of how these patterned all the way up until I was almost finished with them. Now that they are done, I love the striping effect.

And another pair is finished.

I wish my picture taking skills were better, but here are the pictures of Irish Sea finished and ready to go home.

And also a quick sneak peek at AK Mint Chocolate Chip.

Irish Sea

And an updated picture of the TIG Irish Sea. Hopefully I will get this finished by tomorrow and after it dries from it's bath it will be on it's way home by the end of the week.

Current WIPs

Here are my current wip (work in progress).

First is a Kaia Babydoll dress for my daughter. The colorway is Elliebelly Florida Vacation on Merlin Merino.

And the second is another yymn tester. This one is Three Irish Girls Irish Sea.

My first tester

I mailed off my first tester yymn (your yarn my needles) today. Hopefully it will be home soon and I will get some feedback about my work. I also can't wait to see action shots. It's exciting for me to knit for someone other than my own daughter.

Anyway here it is, Retro Baby Rumpelstiltskin.
